The Boost Mobile Pro Starts this weekend, Sept. 7-13th at Lower Trestles in San Clemente, California. Stop seven out of eleven events on the ASP World Championship tour, aka "WCT Tour" or "Dream Tour". This is the only ASP World Tour stop in the continental US.

Kelly Slater has a commanding lead in the points race with 5620 points with Joel Parkinson still in contention with 4548 points going into the event. With a possible 1200 points available for the winner, a bad result by Slater could put some pressure on him in the later events while at the same time providing inspiration to those in contentions.

Wednesday, May 14, 2008: TEAHUPOO, Tahiti Round 2 of the Billabong Pro Tahiti Live will resume at 6:30am today. Four to six foot (two metre) waves akin to those enjoyed by the ASP Top 45 yesterday are still on offer at Teahupoo.
